The museum within the Marjanishvili Theatre has treasured artifacts accumulated over the past eight decades.

The museum stores interesting paraphernalia on prominent directors, playwrights and painters. The original plays, mockups and sketches are preserved here. The museum also exhibits the works of Elene Akhvlediani, Petre Otskheli. Lado Gudiashvili, David Kakabadze as well as the renowned modern painters.

The museum keeps a list where all the plays from the inception of the theater to the present day are chronologically registered. The list includes billboards of announcements of premieres and anniversaries, invitation cards, programs, diaries of plays and rehearsals, plays, reviews of plays and tours.

The museum also preserves Kote Marjanishvili's private archive, which contains photographs and sketches of the plays staged by him in Russia.These are similar to the unique photographic materials of Davidov and Shikhman, the famous photographers - the glass negatives.

Time and again the museum exhibits old materials as well as works of modern painters in its exhibition hall.
